On my never-ending mission to find exceptional donuts, I recently visited Revolution Doughnuts & Coffee in the trendy Atlanta suburb of Decatur, Georgia. Revolution has been well-reviewed and I knew I had to try them for myself. They have two locations. I visited the original, which is just down the road from Agnes Scott College. These are some fine donuts (and they get their coffee beans from one my favorite roasters: Café Campesino). I had a vanilla-glazed, a cinnamon-sugar, and an apple fritter. All were quite tasty, but not quite good enough to knock Glazed Donuts in Key West off the pedestal. Glazed is still my number one.
